Itinerary
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will meet and assist you with your transfer to Gangtok, the charming capital city of Sikkim. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located 34 km from Gangtok, and the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Tsomgo Lake remains frozen during winter and holds deep spiritual significance for the local people. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (6,800 ft), popularly known as the “Queen of the Hills.” Famous for its tea gardens and panoramic Himalayan views, Darjeeling is one of the most enchanting hill stations in the world. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Early in the morning at around 4:00 AM, visit Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue sightseeing to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and a Tea Garden (outer view). Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
