Drive past the National Assembly (Milli Majlis) and admire the iconic Flame Towers, the tallest skyscrapers and one of the most recognized landmarks of Baku. Enjoy views of the famous Baku Boulevard, a scenic promenade stretching along the Caspian Sea waterfront. Traditionally beginning at Freedom Square and extending toward the Old City, the boulevard has become one of the city’s most vibrant attractions. Since the addition of the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) in 2012, its length has expanded significantly, making it a perfect place to experience the charm of Baku. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Baku.

The tour begins with a visit to the Old City (Inner City), the historical heart of Baku and the most ancient part of the capital of Azerbaijan. Surrounded by fortified walls, this UNESCO-listed area reflects centuries of rich history and culture. In 2007, the Old City had a population of approximately 3,000 residents and remains one of the most significant heritage sites in the region. Later, explore the vibrant Nizami Street, one of Baku’s most popular shopping and entertainment avenues. Its origins trace back to the city’s urban development plan of 1864. The street stretches through the heart of downtown Baku from west to east, beginning near Abdulla Shaig Street in the mountainous part of the city and extending towards Sabit Orujov Street near the monument of Shah Ismail Khatai in the “Black City” area. The tour continues with a visit to the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center, a masterpiece of modern architecture designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Covering an area of 57,500 square meters, the complex is famous for its fluid, wave-like design and absence of sharp angles, making it one of Baku’s most striking landmarks. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Baku.

Proceed to Gabala, located in the north-west of Azerbaijan, approximately 225 km (around 3 hours) from Baku. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting excursion to the Tufandaq Winter–Summer Tourism Complex, offering cable car rides throughout the year, skiing facilities for various difficulty levels, ski training and ski school, as well as cafés, restaurants, and entertainment options for children.
