Itinerary
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station or Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok, the beautiful capital city of Sikkim. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located 34 km from Gangtok. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake remains frozen during winter and holds deep religious significance for locals. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day city tour of Gangtok covering Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do Drul Chorten Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Flower Exhibition Centre, and Cottage Industry. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to Pelling. This charming hill town offers breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayan ranges and Mount Kanchenjunga. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling, covering Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Waterfalls, Kanchenjunga Falls, and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,800 ft), popularly known as the “Queen of the Hills.” On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning at 4:00 AM, visit Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. After breakfast, enjoy a local sightseeing tour covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, and a Tea Garden (outer view). Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour covering Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham's Homes, and the famous flower nurseries. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with wonderful memories of your Sikkim and Darjeeling holiday.
